Fusen E. Chen, Ph.D. has served as a director since May 2008. Dr. Chen has served as executive vice president, chief technology officer and general manager of the Gapfill Business Unit of Novellus Systems, Inc., a manufacturer of semiconductor production equipment since 2005, and as senior vice president, Asia Pacific Operations from 2004 to 2005. Prior to joining Novellus, Dr. Chen spent 10 years at Applied Materials, Inc., most recently as the group vice president & general manager of the Copper Physical Vapor CPI Business Group. Dr. Chen also serves as a director of Electroglas, Inc. Dr. Chen holds a bachelor's degree in materials science and engineering from the National Tsing Hua University (Hsinchu, Taiwan) and a doctorate degree in materials science and engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. |

J. Bradford Forth has served as a director since March 2006 and as Chairman of the Board since January 2007. Forth has been a partner at GFI, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, since he joined them in March 2006. From 1999 to 2005, Forth was chief executive officer (CEO) of Power Measurement, Inc., a global provider of enterprise energy management systems. Before becoming CEO, Forth was president of Power Measurement, Inc. from 1998 to 1999 and served in various other roles at the company, from 1988 to 1998, in research and development and as vice president, sales and marketing. Forth served as Chairman of the Board of Cannon Technologies, Inc., a power industry provider, from March 2006 to August 2006, and as a director of Xantrex Technology, Inc., a power electronics supplier, from 2003 to 2006. He was Ernst & Young's "2002 Pacific Entrepreneur of the Year—Technology and Communications." Forth holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Victoria in Victoria, British Columbia. |

Ernest L. Godshalk has served as a director since July 2006. Godshalk is managing director of Elgin Management Group, a private investment company. He is also a director of Verigy Ltd., which provides test systems and solutions to the semiconductor industry, and Hittite Microwave Corporation, which provides integrated circuits, modules and systems for technically demanding radio frequency, microwave and millimeterwave applications. From February 2001 until he retired in December 2004, Godshalk served as president, chief operating officer and a director of Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates, Inc., a supplier of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. From April 1999 until February 2001, Godshalk served as Varian Semiconductor's vice president and chief financial officer. Godshalk is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Business School. |

Gutierrez has extensive international experience in product development, manufacturing, marketing and sales. Prior to assuming his position at GT SOlar, Gutierrez served as chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors of Xerium Technologies Inc., a multinational company that develops, manufactures and markets technically advanced synthetic textiles. He was previously chief executive officer of Invensys Power Systems, a $3 billion multinational business and world leader in power control and energy storage products, systems and services for industrial applications. Gutierrez has also held several executive officer positions with Pulse Engineering, Pitney Bowes, Inc. and Motorola, Inc. Gutierrez holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Florida Institute of Technology. He currently serves on the board of directors of Verso Paper Corp., Comverge, Inc. and PhytoChem Pharmaceuticals, a company he founded. |
